Pumpkin Biscuits

The pumpkin in these delicious biscuits will add some fiber to your dogs diet. Pumpkin is an excellent source of fiber and has many chock full of vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants.

Ingredients for pumpkin biscuits:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin
  • 2 tablespoons of dry milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
  • 2-1/2 cups of brown rice flour
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, whisk eggs and pumpkin until smooth. Stir in dry milk, sea salt and dried parsley. Add brown rice flour gradually to form a stiff, dry dough. Lightly flour counter (or large cutting board). Flatten dough (either with your hand or a rolling pin) to 1/4″ – 1/2″ thick and using a cookie or biscuit cutter punch out shape, place shape onto a non-greased or non-floured cookie sheet. Re-roll and re-flatten dough and cut into shapes until no more dough is left. Bake 20 minutes. Remove from oven and carefully turn biscuits over, then bake an additional 20 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.

This recipe makes up to 75 small biscuits or 50 medium biscuits
